JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager, Integrated Communications

REPORT TO: General Manager, Marketing
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Leader of our Integrated Communication strategy with the vision, artistic creativity, and technical skills to create and maintain a fresh look for global electrical, industrial, and energy company looking to grow in the Americas.
The position also entails the creation of companion e-mail templates, possible blog and social network marketing as well as the design of print collateral, newsletter, advertising, catalogs, ads and trade-show displays.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Leads an e-marketing strategy that maximizes the use and effectiveness of web, discussion groups, intranet and other electronic resources.
- Website Design
- Assess current website design
- Evaluate current outside web services provider
- In depth survey of product division needs
- Assessment of Global website
- Make recommendations for near term and long term direction and changes as needed
- Website Implementation
- Project manage needed changes “on the fly”
- Make individual contribution to implementation if possible
- Website Maintenance
- Upload content to website on an ongoing basis
- Edit and author content as needed
- Marketing Communications
- Creates marketing communications programs, as well as literature and collateral that build and maintain customer awareness and preference.
- Provide leadership and support for all classical print marketing communications consistent with website (brochures, advertising,)
- Perform basic layout for print media (brochures & advertising)
- Layout, edit, & author periodic newsletter
- Edit and author content as needed
- Support presentation development as needed
GENERAL MARKETING SUPPORT
- Contributes to the development of a comprehensive market persona and branding for the Company through interaction with other marketing team members, internal and external customers, partners and suppliers.
- Has regular interaction with the business units to coordinate resources cross-functionally
- Works to support business development opportunities from conceptualization through achievement of company growth goals
- Other duties as assigned from time-to-time
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related Technical field; Bachelor degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business-business marketing of technical products; 5+ years preferred. Ideal industries include: heavy electrical equipment, industrial electronics devices, renewable energy equipment, utilities, or engineering field.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, MySQL, CSS, DHTML, HTML, SML and JavaScript, but overall talent will be considered above technical ability.
- Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), link building, and Web Analytics would be beneficial
